…a concrete finisher. (Actually, I was. It just seems like a lifetime ago.)

What is your funniest childhood memory?
Third Grade. Scipio Elementary School had a softball diamond with no grass…just this dusty dirt all over it. One day at recess, a couple of guys thought it would be fun to pick up that dirt and throw it at each other. Pretty soon about a half dozen of us had joined in. We all looked like Pigpen from the Peanuts
comic strip. I never imagined that such a fun activity would be frowned upon by our teacher. It was the only spanking I ever got at school.

Have you ever had an imaginary friend?
No. Never needed one. I’ve always had very insightful conversations with myself.

What was your favorite song in middle school?
